What is a Data Matrix code?
It's a two-dimensional matrix barcode consisting of black and white "cells" or modules arranged in a square pattern. A Data Matrix code can store more information than a normal barcode: a short text, a product description or the address of a web page.
QR Code is another common type of matrix barcode, similar to Data Matrix.
How does it work?
Data Matrix is a simple and great way to add media contents to a printed product, either collectible or promotional, without having to invest in expensive and complex technologies.
Users only need a computer and a webcam! Most modern cell phones equipped with camera are also able to read the code and bring you to the web page.
